Enrolment for the 2017-2018 school year is now open, we have very limited space remaining.

Our After School Program combines the discipline and safe environment of our Taekwondo programs with the adventure and fun that our camps are known for.

Here are some of the nice things parents have said about our after school program

My son LOVES Taekwondo classes at Core. He was in the annex after school program and while they were very nice, I never was happy with it nor was he. I wanted him in a smaller program that would give more individual attention, help with homework and yet still be fun. Hard to find in the Bay Area without costing an arm and a leg. Lo and behold, Master Meggie informs me they are doing an after school program!! I literally said sign us up before I even knew much about it. That is how much I trust her and her teaching. I asked if the instructor could please be her clone and she said "close"; it would be her sister, Mel who also has an education/teaching background.

- Liv, parent of Core Learning student

My Kindergartener, Anthony, embraced Core Learning's fun, afterschool learning program from Day 1. Ms. Mel helps him get his homework done and he comes home talking about oceans, animals and all the facts that he has learned. She ignited his curiosity and love for learning, and the fact that he also gets all the taekwondo training that he can handle is icing on the cake. Two thumbs up from Anthony (and his parents)!

- Rod, parent of Core Learning student

A great after school learning environment, Ms. Mel is the best!

Is my child a good fit?
Our program is a good fit for most children and provides more structure than a typical academically focused after school program. Parents should take into consideration that students will train Taekwondo each day and that the ability to function as part of a group is an important trait of a successful student.

Please note: Core Taekwondo is a martial arts school and not a licensed day care. We operate under a come and go policy which allows all children participating in our programs to enter and leave the premises without permission or supervision and as a result we are not a day care facility, nor are we licensed as such.
